The spring 2024 semester of Baja has been mainly focused on finishing assembling the car and optimizing the look and performance of the car so that it will perform well at competitions.
The sheet metal firewall serves as a critical barrier between the engine compartment and the vehicle's interior, protecting the driver from potential hazards such as heat, flames, and debris. This component is designed and assembled with fire protection and durability in mind.
The ABS foot box panels contribute to both the safety and durability of the driver and the car, respectively. Their main purpose is to protect the driver's legs and feet from debris that might cause harm to the person and components of the foot box, such as the gas, brakes, and steering column.
